Trains have always been a popular theme for cakes, whether for a kids birthday or a real enthusiast but if you're anything like me, the thought of all that detail and how to make the structure work has meant it was far too costly and time consuming for it to be a viable option. 
But not anymore!
The Dinkydoodle train kit will allow you to make a train cake with ease. The easy to assemble kit will make light work of all of the structure, wheels and track. Meaning you can simply add the cake, cover and detail. 
 
The train kit is based on the Jacobite train, and would be suitable for making the Flying Scotmans, Mallard and Hogwarts Express. 
 
We've now added a Polar Express snow plough that attaches to the front of the train structure.

Train kit & smoke unit comes with the train engine structure, the tender structure, and the smoke unit.
Polar Express bundle comes with the train engine structure, the tender structure, the smoke unit, AND the Polar Express snow plough to attach to the front of your train.
The Train structure ONLY comes with the train engine structure and the tender structure.
the Polar Express snow plough is the pough accessory ONLY - does not include train structure.
 
Why not take it a step futher and make your steam train actually STEAM!!  The little steam unit (available to purchse as part of the bundle) will provide real "smoke" from a clever battery powered unit that you hide within the structure. 
 
There is even a full tutorial available, which takes you through every step of the process (including adding the smoke.)
